On Wednesday, June 17th, ComplyCode's CEO Jillian Harrington presented "Maximum Compliance and Minimal Risk - Beyond Billing and Coding" at HFMA's ANI held in Seattle, Washington. She discussed how organizations could analyze their compliance programs and monitor those programs for potential problems. Ms. Harrington also spoke to the group about developing an enterprise risk management approach to corporate compliance. As part of her session, she passed along important tools to be used by organizations to assist them in evaluating their compliance readiness, and also use as a basis for incidental disclosures. Also, a very useful guide, published by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, to help organizations implement the HIPAA Security Rule was provided. These can be found below.
